spring whites

As most of you know, brights are a huge trend for this spring and summer. I am one who loves the trend yet is scared of it at the same time. I am using white as my way of easing into what could be a fun trend. When using white against a dull color like grey, it pops like a bright. Here is my simple take on using white as a spring bright.

guest room inspiration

Here are some inspirational photos I have collected for the guest room I am redecorating. I do not have a big budget for the room so I am looking to DIY projects. It's a small space and I have been able to use pieces from around the house to add to this room. 

I started with an idea, then moved to a color pallet, and started working and getting inspired. These looks have added to my inspiration for the room. 

I love the variety of textures, patters and pops of color.

something from Anthropologie

The weather right now is perfect for dresses. My favorite place to find the perfect dress is Anthropologie, and right now there are so many choices. Here are just some of my favorites. I love the flow and colors of each and every one of these beautiful garments. 

new hair

I just love going to the salon and getting a fresh new look. This time I decided to put my own twist on the ombre look. I wanted to add a subtle color change twards the end of the cut for some more dimention but not too drastic of a change. This was the first time I colored my hair so I wanted to take baby steps. I can't wait to play around with my new healthy hair. There a few better feelings other than healthy ends and shiny hair, and I could owe the majority of it to Argan oil. I might just be addicted to this new oil. It made my hair feel so healthy and it works on skin too! Check it out at your local drug store.

Patterned pants are something I have been trying this spring, and I like experimenting with different ways to wear them. This is my simple look. I love small floral prints right now. I have found it's more flattering to wear a smaller print on bottom and keep the tops simple when wearing patterned pants. I stuck with solid color on top to accent the pants this time. Everything added to the look is simple as well; I just added leather ballet flats, and  understated jewelry.
