leather and knit

I bought these shorts a while ago and have been hesitant to wear them. I finally decided to take the risk and pair them with a softer look on top. I like to mix hard and soft, and light and dark together with textures and shapes. Today I spent most of the day waiting in the waiting room for my mom who had a minor surgery so I thought it was a good day for experimenting, it was safe. 

I have a few other pairs of shorts that I still need to break out. I love the variety of shapes and fabrics that have been used this season for shorts and other bottoms. It keeps simple outfits interesting; something I love.
